Work Samples
Google App Inventor
I was able to in-cooperate my app inventor skills that I learned from Technovation. When my Exploring Computer Science class teacher introduced it to the class. This was a distinctive change from the Technovation Challenge. For the following reason, I worked with my classmates and only one partner. We first did tutorials but once had a gripp on app inventor we were able to make more complicated apps. We had some great results by making a shooting game for our final game. I would like to work on JavaScript next.
Robotics
​This activity was able to bring the class together because the obstacle course and dance off, furthermore we were shown the value of cooperation and teamwork. We were also reminded of the importance of how programming has to be accurate for the robot to do a certain instruction. Also reminded us how important our fingers are because sometimes my group envisioned our robot to hold an object but we knew it does not have the our abilities.

In this project, my teacher has assigned every student in my technology class to do a sample website. In this sample website we had to made to make a website for her and show her what will look best for her. In the end she choose which one she liked the most. It was my first time to use a website maker other than Dreamweaver. I have to say that it is way easier.
Genetics Project

When you first go to the link it goes to my first try in doing a webpage. You must click Genetics Project and it shows you information of Friedrich. In this project I was able to connect almost all of my classes into a one project that involves technology. The classes that were brought together projects that were brought together was Biology, English, US History, and Digital class.
I was able to learn many things in this project and i'm glad that I was able to use Dreamweaver even if it got complicated and I got technical difficulties.
Technovation
​Creating App
A program named Iridescent has made a project called Technovation. One of the most interesting things about this program is that, it is all girls. It is an all girls program because there is a need for more women in the area of engineering and technology. In this program we were able to create apps with Google app inventor. We were taught to make buttons and make thing in the app move.
While we learned all this things it was for a reason. The reason is that we were competing in a competition to create an app that involved scientific information. We had to make our app and make a video(the video in the left) In the end we didn't get in Finals but it was such a fun experience. It also opened up my eyes more in coding and advancing my capabilities.
Ethics Project
In this Project we were put into groups of four and given a topic. The topic that my group was given was Intellectual Property:Music Software, we had to find the Pros & Cons of our topic. I had fun doing this project because I was able to work in a group and communicate with others.
​Scratch

This was very exciting thing to do because we were able to program and make anything that you can think of. One of the things that I did was to make a clicking game to study/play with the periodic table type of elements. What I learned while using scratch, is how to use the basic programming. One of the coolest things about scratch is that it is for all ages.​

This project took time to do. Even thought it took a long time I am happy that I was able to accomplished it and finished it. It is about animal abuse and if you are able to adopt an animal. While I was researching I learned so much that I feel that i have to stop animal abuse whenever i see it happening.
